Discovery and sourcing
An authenticated agency administrator can run an on-demand web-assisted search for recent U.S. insurance regulatory and legislative developments. The search is directed to prefer Departments of Insurance, legislatures, Congress, NAIC materials, and other authoritative sources. Results without a usable source link are not presented as sourced alerts.
What every live alert shows
- Original source organization and a direct source link.
- Publication date and effective date when the source provides them.
- Jurisdiction and affected insurance product line.
- The time YourAgencyDesk last checked the result.
- Verification status and whether human review is still required.
- A path to report an incorrect, outdated, or broken result.
Review statuses
High-impact results
Items identified as potentially high impact remain marked for human review. The data model prevents a high-impact alert from being marked ready for customer notification until an authorized reviewer and review time are recorded. YourAgencyDesk does not automatically send newly discovered regulatory results to agency users.
Dates and corrections
If a publication or effective date is unavailable, the interface shows that it was not provided instead of estimating one. Last checked indicates the discovery or refresh time, not that the underlying rule was reissued. Report a possible error to info@youragencydesk.com with the alert title and source URL; do not include client information.
Agency responsibility
Before acting, agencies should open the original source, confirm that it is current, determine whether it applies to their licenses, products, transactions, and jurisdiction, and consult the applicable regulator or qualified compliance counsel when needed.
